Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum
Bi-monthly Forum meetings take place where agencies are able to share information and update themselves on any new policies and procedures relating to working with children, young people and their families. The Forum has an active role in promoting the voice and influence of voluntary sector organisations. Representatives attend groups held by the Wiltshire Children and Young People's Trust and Wiltshire Safeguarding Children Board.
To find out more about the Local Authority groups and the representatives contact Emily Orchard.
There are many benefits of being a member of the Forum such as timely and relevant information shared from the Local Authority, forming working partnerships with other agencies, networking events, bi-monthly meetings, regular newsletters and training opportunities (often free).

Governance of the Children and Families Voluntary Sector Forum
The running of the forum is organised by an Executive Committee which is made up of representatives elected by the forum members. The role of the Executive group and the continuance of the people performing those roles is reviewed bi-annually. The Chair and Administrator are also appointed by the Executive Committee.
